Perform overall planning, organization, and execution of all functions of the help desk related to supporting user based operations.
Responsibilities:
Direct, support and prioritize help desk technicians.
Track Help Desk trends and tickets to ensure timely and proper completion of all assigned tasks.
Identify problem patterns and device solutions to enhance service quality while reducing or preventing future issues.
Monitor daily operation of the Help Desk and provide frequent feedback to staff on matters regarding customer service, technical expertise, deadlines, and prioritizing.
Develop and document processes for Help Desk operations.
Analyze and report on Help Desk activities and documented resolutions.
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical assistance in response to calls, emails, and tickets in the use of software, hardware and computer malfunctions.
Assist other Help Desk team members with support call or ticket resolution.
Collaborate with IT Manager to select appropriate levels of hardware, software, and services during annual budgeting process.
Contribute to weekly, and quarterly meetings and reports.
Communicate plans, progress, and issues in a timely manner.
Supervise special projects where appropriate.
Maintain current knowledge of changing and growing technologies through reading, training, and both formal and informal professional development in the fields of technology and customer services.
Actively contribute to ongoing process improvement department-wide.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
3-year minimum experience supporting a Microsoft Server environment.
Previous supervisor experience required.
Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with various levels of management.
Problem solving and interpersonal skills with emphasis on patience and tact.
Ability to communicate well, both written and verbal, at all levels of the organization.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk.
Ability to lift computers, weight up to 50 pounds.

Ability to stoop, bend and crawl.
Ability to travel and availability after hours in case of emergency situations.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
